Conversion of old YEA-1 with SARA rectifier end output tubes to
solid state rectifier end 66A? output tubes: .3
The old circuit (1) fits on old circuit (2) at points A
B C D end 2 to convert the rectifier. It my be poesihle to fit some
of the PBZOA'I right on the old 5A8 socket ss terminsl points, or, solder
in e seperete terninel lug strip'.
The GCAI end the 7027A hove the some tlbe beeing except
that you will hevs to connect G3 pin"l to pin 8 externslly for the 6M7.
We suggest else e LSK 1: resistor in seried_vith.the 61 on pin 5 of
the 6CA7 to prevent oscillation. We suggest you reduce 230 {row 56K to
1.7K to make the no signel grid hiss voltsgs - 38V.
Except for the trenstorqer volteges. circuit 3 ehwe the
emplifier converted to 6CA7's. The sddition of the ehock mount rubber
feet will insure longer tube life.
We heve included the letest schematic for reference but
'we do not reconnend the} you delete the Choke in your conversion.
