General Description

The TOA A~903A, A~906A and A4912A Mixer Power Amplifiers
control and mix up to six independent input signels. The A-903A
delivers up to 30 watts oi cutout power. the A-QOGA 60 watts and
the A-912A 120 watts. Optional accessory modules are mileble for
use with the A903A. A»906A and A-912A to provide versetllltv for
a wide range of operating apolicnions. Edge connectors on the rear
of the unit permit the selection of the TOA plug-in modules ; The
14-01 series, H02 series and H03 series Microphone Pmmplilien,
the £03 and 541 Meg Phono Pmmclitiers. the x01 series and
X-i1 series Auxiliary Preamplifier: for high-level sources. the 801
series and 3-11 series Bridging Tundorrnm for bridging high-
impedance lines. the L01 series Une Matching Trenskmners (or
matching 600mm: lines, I-Ol Paging input for combining with TOA
Intercom Systems 90384000, EXESSDOO end EXJS. T01 series
Line Outputs for matching SOOohm lines end the $01, $02 and
803 Tone Signal Generators for generating attentiorwetting signals
and 1 kHz sine wave for testing within the tcu| system. Other
features include a muting function. Sources fed to particular input
module accessories are muted by shortcirouiting at MUTE
TERMINALS on the rears. To perform this function. Module Erll,
x4 I series or 3- reries is required.

The TOA A-903A, A-906A end A-912A Mixer Pmr Amplifier:
have output terminals to match 4- or Bohm speaker systems. or
speaker distribution systems may be connected to the 25- or 7041:
terminals. The A-903A, A906A and A~9i2A can be rack mounted
by using Rackmounting Bracket modes MB-SZI (for A-903A)
or MB-93i (for A-SOGA and A-912A). The PF-SH Perioreted Panel
(1.73 inches, 1 rack unit) accessory provides suitable ventiietion,
finished in color to match the A-903A, Av906A and A~912At

POWER ON-OFF

SWlTCH switch for on-ofl modes.

METER indicates the output level of the amplifier. Al rated
output, it shows 0 VU (at continuous sine-wave
signal input).

When pmr is turned on. meter illuminates.

INPUT VOLUME Adjust gain of INPUT #1 - #6 respectively.

CONTROLS

BASS CONTROL Adjusts bass response.

Turn clockwise (CW) to boost and counterclockwise
(CCW) to attenuate the bass resoonse. Tone is flat
Bl center.

TR EB LE CONTROL Adjusts treble response.
Tum CW to boost and CCW to attenuate the treble
response. Tone is flat at center.

TONE SWITCH Selects IN/DEFEAT of the BASS and TREBLE
Controls. When this button is depressed (A). the
BASS and TREBLE Controls are active. (IN)
. 3 , when pressed again (.I. ). they become inactivg to

make tone flat. (TONE DEFEAT)
