0 Power (mains) switch
Power stand by U) , on switch
This switch turns on and olf the secondary circuit power
only.
The unit is in the stand by" condition when this switch is set
to the stand byt) " position. Regardless of the switch
setting. the primary circuit is always "live" as long as the
power (mains) cord is connected to an electrical outlet.

0 Record groove scale
A scale with 1 mm graduations that is usetul tor determining
the tonearm position.

For stopping record play (reject) and outward search.
1. When you press the stop button (lor less than one
second), the lonearm automatically returns to the rest
pOSlthI'l (auto-return).

2. It you keep the button pressed (for more than one
secondlthe tonearm will moveoutward toward the edge
of the record (outward search).

3. It you press the cueing button to raise the lonearrn, and
then press the stop button intermittently. the tonearm will
move outward in approximately 1 mm steps

For beginning record play (auto-start, auto-lead-ln) and

inward search.

1, When you press the start button (for less than one
second). the tonearm automatically moves to the
records lead-in groove and starts record play lento-start,

auto-lead-in).

- If this button is pressed during play (for less than one
second), the tonearm will return to the rest position and
begin playing it over again.

2. It you keep the button pressed (for more than one
second), the tonearm moves inward toward thecentre of
the record (inward search).

3, It you pressthe cueing button to raise the tonearm. and
then pressthe startbutton intermittently thetonearm will
move inward in approximately 1 mm steps.

GRepeat button and repeat indicator
Press to activate the repeat play tunction (indicator
illuminates). Press again to cancel the repeat play function
(indicator goes out).

Use this adaptor when playing a 45-rpm record wlth a large
centre hole.
Thisadaptor is held down bythe weightol LP records. When
playing thin. llexible records, such as those included in
magazines, lock this adaptor down by gently pressing
downward and rotating it clockwise.
