FEATURES

0 Car CD player with built-in auto repeat FM/AM elec-
tronic tuner using high performance FF~i (fine-focus-i
beam) laser pick-Up.

0 Random access function is provided; enables continuous
play back of )5 numbers in the programmed sequence.

0 3 modes of repeating are available using repeat and
memory functions; a single number, all number and
selected numbers.

0 SCAN, RECALL and SEARCH functions are built-in.

0 Disk slot is illuminated green during play back and
changes to orange when playing is stopped.

O The pick-up rnay returns quickly to right position if
the disk happens to skip due to heavy vibration.

0 Tuner may be changed with the disk inserted.

O The double function system has been adopted, one
pushbutton has two different functions: one is for
when used as a radio or the other is for CD player.

AUTOMATIC ANTENNA TERMINAL

Connect the power supply cord for the motor antenna from
the radio to the motor antenna relay.

Do not use the motor antenna without the relay for this
unit (maximum permissible Current: 500 mA).

FUSE REPLACEMENT
Be sure to use a fuse of specified rating (3A, IA) when
replacing a blown fuse.

Fuses rated at higher capacity, use of any substitute, or
connection without a fuse may result in a fire hazard or
damage to the unit.

If the replacement fuse fails, Contact your nearest autho-
rized Technics Service Center.

BEFORE USE

Before use, make sure to push eject button.

0 In some cases, compact disc mechanism will be locked
by the shock during transportation.
After wiring connections and installation are done,
push eject button and disc player will be ready for use.

0 Do not insert disc until all wiring connections are done.
This models is equipped with an electronic eject system.
Disc will not eject when power is not on.

COMPOSITION AND WIRING CONNECTION

Before Wiring Connections

O The speaker cord and the power amplifier uriit shouid be
kept away (about 30cm apart) from the antenna and antenna

extension cord.

0 Be sure to insulate exposed wiring so as to protect it from
short-circuit if touched with some metal item.
