The graphical symbols marked on the back cover of the set mean the following ex-
pIanation.

The lightning flash with arrowhead symbol,within an equilateral triangle,
is intended to alert the user to the presence of uninsulated "dangerous
voltage" within the product's enclosure that may be of sufficient ma-
gnitude to constitute a risk of electric shock to persons.

The exclamation point within an equilateral triangle is intended to alert
the user to the presence of important operating and maintenance (servic-
ing) instructions in the literature accompanying the appliance.

Power switch

When Touched to turn power on, the selected function indicator will light.
Graphic equalizer control switches.

Adjust the tone with the Graphic Equalizer Control switches Separated into five
segments from lOOHz to lOkHz.

Balance control

Adjusts left or right balance should there be any variation at the program source.
Normally this control is set at the center position.

Power LEVEL indicators

Indicates the approximate music program power Output levels to the speakers.
Also for continuous system monitoring to provide an instantaneous indication of
the left and rightvchannel power distribution and channel balance.

Mode button

To listen to mono recordings press until stereo mode indicator light is off. To
resume stereo listening, press again and the stereo indicator will light.

Note: When the amplifier is in mono all other functions and selectors are like
wise in mono, therefore care should be taken when making recordings to ensure
that the stereo LED is lit.

Note: Presetting is possible in any order and with any of the buttons for both FM and

AM stations.

When a preset STATION button is used to preset a new, different broadcast
station, the previously preset station is erased.

When a preset STATION button is pressed after the station frequency has been
entered into the memory, the frequency of the preset station is indicated on
the digital frequency display panel.

2. Cassette compartment A-Deck
A-Deck is used for playback only and features automatic tape equalization.
3. Recording indicator
Lights when recording mode is selected
4. Dubbing function indicator
Lights when dubbing function is selected.
5. Dolby NR Switch
push to record tapes with Dolby NR system or to playback Dolby encoded tapes.
6. High Speed Dubbing Switch
Activates deck for high speed dubbing from A-Deck to B-Deck.
7. Continuous playback button
To playback two pre-recorded cassette tapes from B DECK to A DECK.
8. Tape counter
9. Level meters

These indicate the input level during recording and the output level during playback
of the deck currently operating.
