Sunfire's RS-232 protocol is a very sophisticated, yet simple to use interface to 3rd party control systems such as Elan, Crestron, AMX, and others. Each command is structured as outlined below: The start character ("*") tells the Sunfire unit that a command is about to follow. The command + parameter instruct the unit to perform a certain operation.
