This modified program step can now be stored. in the
foregoing exampte, all fields were modified. However,

with the cursor it is possible to make seLective changes
in any position of a program step.

A program can be cancelled in two ways:

(It is not necessary to cancel the uLd program before a
new one is entered. The old one can be simply over-
written).

1. By simultaneously pressing the STORE and PROGRAM keys
in which case the program mode must be active.

2. By a power failure (>50 ms). Switching off the (D
p.ayer with the POWER key does not erase the memory
content because the memory remains under power in

If the program is now started normally by pressing
PLAY/NEXT (4), the entire program is repeated when the
end is reached. Looping continues until the program is
interrupted with the LOAD key or by switching off the
unit.

A pause can be programmed at the end of a selection in
the same manner as described in Section T.>.1_ In our
exampLe a pawse shalt be entered after step 9 instead of
the repeat function at the end of the program.

~ The CD player switches to pause after the ninth program
step. However, the beginning 06 the next step wiLL be
accessed. To continue the program press the PLAY/NEXT
key (A). The program continues to run until the next
pause is encountered or untiL the end is reached, if no
iurther pause was programmed.

Note:

If a pause is desired after each step, the AUTOSTOP (i4)
button can be pressed each time before the program is
started (also in PLAY PROGRAM MODE). As a result the
PAUSE function is activated after each step.
