The SRD-X portable adaptor is designed to plug into
standard headphone jacks for easy hook-up. You can
now connect this energizer directly to your tape deck,
FM tuner, portable radio/cassette recorder or amplifier
headphone jack. And it operates from AC power (AC
adaptor included) or C" cell batteries. So you can
take your STAX electrostatic earspeaker out of your
listening room to enjoy music outdoors or to monitor
on-the-spot recordings.

Any of STAX earspeakers can be connected to the
SRD-X. A gain control is mounted on the front of the
SRD-X adaptor so it can be used with unattenuated
equipments.

With manganese batteries you get 25 hours of con-
tinuous operation below rated distortion (0.03%) and
75 hours with alkaline batteries.
