CARTRIDGE MOUNTING

I. in your hardware packed. you will lind two types
at screws. each in two lengths and three ditlerent
thicknesses oi screw-holders (Figure 1). Check the
record player rnanutecturers instruction sheet to
determine which screws are required tor their par-
ticular type 0' tone arm heed.

a. The BLUE screw-holder is for use in tone arm
heads requiring no spacing between cartridge bracket
and mounting surlace. Simply insert the required
screws into holes in the plastic with the cartridge
bracket between screw heads and plastic. This allows
easy holding and positioning oI screws while tight.

b. The WHIlE molded plastic screwholder is for
use in some heads where more spacing is needed.

I). Simply insert cartridge bracket in slots. align

STEREO CONNECTIONS

1. Your turntable arm or head has Iour lead wires
with terminal clips tor normal stereo connection
Check the manulecturers instruction tor matching
these leads with cartridge terminal pins in Figure 2.

wires to cartridge pins-0o Not use solder on car-
tridge pins.

strep as is. In metallic tone arm heads remove the
ground strap when hum is encountered.

c. Ground your turntable mechanism with a sep-
arate wrre to a suitable ground paint.

STYLUS PROTECTIVE COVER

Your 681 YRIPLE E is supplied with a
protective cover over the stylus. To re-
move. pull gently down on the two side
ears. The stylus cover can be replaced.
when desired, by placing the trout lip
over the stylus guard and pressing the
ears gently onto the cartridge body.
