SERVICING NOTES

Flexible Circuit Board Repairing

-Keep the temperature of the soldering iron around
270C during repairing.

-Do not touch the soldering iron on the same can-
ductor of the circuit board (within 3 times).

-Be careful not to apply force on the conductor when

soldering or unsoldering.

Note: on Chip Component Replacement

-Never reuse a disconnected chip component.

-Notice that the minus side of a tantalum capacitor
may be damaged by heat.

Note: on replacing the speed detection coil (F6901)
FG901 is pressed in chassis.

Replace as chassis assy when FG901 is defective.
Decide if FG901 is defective or not by removing lead
wires of FG901 from audio board and measuring DC
resistance value.

DC resistance value of FG901 : Approx. 690.0
