- Uses an SD head
- Does not have an HX PRO button;
the Dolby HX PRO function is
continuously on
- Is for sale in Europe only
TC-KA3ES
- Uses an LA head
- Has an HX PRO button for turning the
Dolby HX PRO function on and off
- Is for sale in the U.S.A., Canada, and
other non-European countries
