Installing the
Battery (See Fig. I)

1 Open the battery compartment lid
at the rear at the radio.

2 Insert one size AA (Rh) battery
(nut supplied) With the (9 and 9
maria. aligned currectly.

3 Cinse the battery compartment lid.

Using the Belt
Holder

when to replace the battery
Replace the battery when the sound
becomes weak or distorted. Remove IhL old
battery and insert a new one.

Notes on the battery

. Align the battery correctly.

0 The dry battery Cannot be charged.»

leakage, remove the battery when unit
will not be used for a long Iimc.

Playing the Radio

1 Connect the supplied headphones
to Q (headphones) jack,

2 Set POWER to GM to turn on the
radio.

3 Turn TUNE to tune in a station.

4 Ad]ust VOL ( volume).

- To turn off the radio, set POWER to OFF
0 To improve reception
Extend the headphones cord which
functions as the FM antenna
' Set SENS to LOCAL 1f interference is
prevalent when radio wave intensity is
dra matically stronger.
To listen to stereo programs, set to DX .
