Precautions on Replacement and Adjustment of Pickilp
The AEL (Accessible Emission Level) of this model is specified

to be Inwar than Class-1 requirement; HoWever, when ,
conducting service; observe the folloWing-cautionsso as to ~ '

avoid exposure of laser to your eyes

if the disc holder apenlclose detecting switch SW 850 is
turned on (thedisc holder' Is closed) afierthe selector switch Is
set to CD and power supply Is_ torned on, the laser diode lights
ffir about 7 seconds.

While the laser Is emitted and the compact disc Is not loaded,
do not look Into the pickup lens. A,

Since the laser pickup adjusting variable resistor has been
adfusted before shipping, do not adjust it when servicing
(otherwise the performance Is not guaranteed)

Lasers'trahlung ausgesetzt sind

Wenn der "Offnen/Schlieiéen"-Detelctorschalter SWSSQ des
Disc- Fachs aktivien wird (Disc-Each ist geschlossen) und
nachdem der Wahlschalter béi eingeschaltetem Gerét auf CD
gestellt wurde. leuchtet dle Laserdiode fur ungeffihr 7
Sekunden auf.

Wahrendder Laser ausgestrahltwird unddie Disc- Schublade
leer ist, unbedingt jegiichen Augenkontakt mit der
Abtasterlinse vermeiden.

Der Regelwiderstand des Laserabtasters wurde vor
Auslieferung des Geréts werkseitig eingestellt. Es darf

deshalh bei der Wartung keine Verstellung vorgenornmen .
