- 1 - PRECAUTIONS - The apparatus shall not be exposed to dripping or splashing. - No object filled with liquid, such as vase shall be placed on the apparatus. - D o n o t u s e w h e r e t h e r e a r e e x t r e m e s of t e m p e r a t u r e ( b e l o w 5 oC o r e x c e e d i n g 35 oC). - Because of the CD playerʼs extremely low noise and wide dynamic range, there might be a tendency to set the volume on the amplifier unnecessarily high. Doing so may produce an excessively large output from the amplifier which could damage your speakers. - Sudden change in the ambient temperature may cause condensation to form on the opti - cal lens inside the unit. If this happens, take out the disc, leave the unit for about 1 hour, and then proceed to operate. - W h e r e t h e M A I N S p l u g o r a n a p p l i a n c e coupler is used as the disconnect device, the d i s c o n n e c t d e v i c e s h a l l r e m a i n r e a d i l y operable. - To be completely disconnect the power input, the mains plug of apparatus shall be discon - nected from the mains. - Do not install this equipment in a con - fined space, such as a book case or built in cabinet. - The rating label is located on the bottom of the unit. - The mains plug of apparatus should not be obstructed OR should be easily accessed during intended use. - The ventilation should not be impeded by covering the ventilation openings with items, such as newspapers, table-cloths, curtains etc. - No naked flame sources, such as lighted candles, should be placed on the apparatus. - Minimum distances around the apparatus for sufficient ventilation. - Attention should be drawn to the environ - mental aspects of battery disposal. CAUTION- USE OF CONTROLS OR ADJUSTMENTS OR PERFOR- MANCE OF PROCEDURES OTHER THAN THOSE SPECIFIED IN THE OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS MAY RESULT IN HAZARDOUS RADIATION EXPOSURE.
