Important

The wires in this mains lead are coloured in accordance with the
following code:

Blue: Neutral

Browm Live
If the colours of the wires in the mains lead of this equipment
should not correspond to the col0ured markings identifying the
terminals in your plug, proceed as follows:

The wire which is coloured blue must be connected to the terminal
which is marked with the letter 'N or coloured black.

The wire which is coloured brown must be connected to the termi-
nal which is marked with the letter 'L' or coloured red.

Ensure that your equipment is connected correctly. if you are in
any doubt, consult a qualified electrician.

For equipment .purchased outside the U.K. with 3 "EUROPEAN"
twopin mains plug, the plug should be removed and connections
made in accordance with the above instructions. Ensure also that
the equipment is properly adjusted to 240 volts operation. If you
are in any doubt, consult a qualified electrician, or our Service
Agent in the U.K.

Bear in mind the following points.

II Power plug

When disconnecting the power cord from the power outlet,
do not grasp the cord itself but the plug. Never connect or
disconnect the power plug with wet hands since y0u may
give yourself an electric shock.

Do not remove the case or bottom panel

circumstances, poke about inside the unit.

Installation precautions

Do not install the unit in the types of location given below
since the units performance may deteriorate or trouble
may be caused.

0 Locations near heating appliances or other heat-radiat-
ing products. or locations exposed to direct sunlight.

0 Locations susceptible to humidity or moisture.

e Poorly ventilated or dusty locations.

0 Locations susceptible to vibration or locations on a slope which are

unstable.
