4 Adjustment of volume,

U6 VOLUME Control
07 AUDIO MUTING Switch

The sound volume excepting the microphone volume level is controlled
by the VOLUME control. The more this control is turned clockwise the
louder the volume of the sound becomes.

Depress the AUDIO MUTING switch when you wish to reduce the
overall volume temporarily. This attenuates the volume by 20dB
without having to touch the main VOLUME control, which comes in
very handy when you receive a telephone call or to eliminate the
unpleasant sounds produced when the stylus is lowered onto the
surface of the record.

Adjustment of the volume of very low sounds is easily carried out by
adjusting the VOLUME control after the AUDIO MUTING switch has
been depressed.

Die Lautstarke, ausgenommen der Mikrophonlautstarkepegel, wird mit
dem Lautstérkeregler (VOLUME) geregelt. Je mehr der Flegler nach
rechts gedreht wird, um so gréISer wird die Lautstérke.

Driicken Sie den Schalter fiir die Gerauschsperre (AUDIO MUTING),
wenn Sie die Gesamtlautstarke zeitweilig verringern wollen. Hierdurch
wird die Lautstarke um 20 dB verringert, oh ne dais der Hauptlautstérke-

'regler beriiht wird. Dies ist sehr praktisch wenn Sie einen Telephonan ruf-

bekommen oder die unschonen Gerausche beim Aufsetzen der Nadel
auf eine Schallplatte vermeiden wollen.
Lautstarkeregelung fiir sehr leise Tone geschieht einfach durch Ein-

stellung des Lautstarkereglers (VOLUME) bei gedrucktem Gerausch-
sperreschalter (AUDlO MUTINGI.
