SAFETY INSTRUCTION

1. Reed lnetructlone- All the safety and operating instructions should
be read betore the appliance ls operated.

2. Retain Instruction.- The safety and operating instructions should
be retained tor luture reterence.

3. Heed Warninge-All warnings on the appliance and in the operating
instructions should be adhered to.

4. Follow lnetmctione- All operating and use instructions should be
iollowed.

5. Water and Moisture- Theappliance should not be used near water
- tor example. near I bathtub. washbowl kitchen sink. laundry tub. In
a wet basement. or near I swimming pool. and the like.

should be used only with I cart or stand
that is recommended by the manufac-
turer.

the appliance should not be situated on I bed. sota, rug. or similar
surface that may block the ventilation openings: or placed in a built-in
installation such as I bookcase or cabinet that may impede the flow
ol air through the ventilation openings.

to the receiver. be sure the antenna system Is grounded so as to
provide some protection against voltage surges and built up static
charges. Section 810 ot the National Electrch Code. ANSI / NFPA
No. 70-1984. provides lnlormatlon with respect to proper ground-
lng at the mast and supporting structure. grounding ol the lead-
ln wire to an antenna discharge unit. size at grounding con-
ductors. location at antenna-discharge unit. connection to ground-
Ing electrodes. and requirements for the grounding electrode. See
Figure.

I- Uee No.10 AWG (5.3 mm?) copper. No. 8 AWG (8.4 mm)
aluminum. No. 17 AWG ( 1.0 mm) copper-clad steel or bronze
wire. or larger. as I ground wire.
