ing operation, please read this
instruction manual thoroughlv and
acquaint yourself with the proper
mode of using the unit and all
its connections.

INSTALLATION

Be sure to place the unit in a level
and flat place where it is free from
humidity, vibration, high tempera-
ture and not exposed to direct
sunlight. Be careful not to place the
unit in a highly enclosed place such
as near a wall or on a bookshelf. A
poor ventilation will cause undesira-
ble effects to the unit.

POWER SUPPLY CONNEC-
TION

For power the unit requires the
normal house electrical current
(AC). You may simply plug the
unit to a wall outlet, or to your
amplifier's (or receivers) switched
or unswitched AC outlet. If it is
plugged to a switched outlet, by
leaving the power switch of the
unit on, you will be able to main»
tain switching control for the
equalizer with your amplifier or
receiver. If it is connected to an
unswitched outlet, like connecting
to a wall outlet you must use the
equalizer's own power switch for
swutching control.

CAUTION - Do not apply power
without first making sure the pro-
per connections are completed. If
you live in UK. and your unit
comes with Z-core cord Without a
plug, be sure to read the exclusive
caution for UK.

AU FSTELLUNG

Stellen Sie das Ger'at auf eine
waagerechte und ebene Oberfl'ache,
wo es vor Feuchtigkeit, Vibrati-nen,
hohen Temperaturen und direkter
Sonnenbestrahlung geschiitzt ist.
Achten Sie darauf, dais Sie das Ge»
rat nicht an einen Ort aufstellen,
wo die Luftzufuhr beeintrachtigt

NETZANSCHLUSS

Das Gerat benotigt normalen

Haushaltsstrom (Wechselstrom).
Verbinden Sic es einfach mit einer
Wandsteckdose oder mit einem der
geschalteten oder ungeschalteten
Wechselstrom-Anschliissen, die sich
auf der Rilckseite lhres Empfangers
oder Verstarkers befinden. lst das
Gerat mit einem geschalteten Ansch-
luB verbunden, dann Iassen Sie den
Netzschalter des entzerrers immer
auf ON stehen. Beim Ein- und
Ausschalten des Empfangers bzw.
Verstarkers wird der entzerrer dann
ebenfalls ein- bzw. ausgeschalted.
lst der entzerrer mit einem un-
geschalteten Anschlul'S verbunden,
so mull: er wie bei Varbindung mit
einer Wandsteckdose mit seinem
eigenen Netzschalter ein» und aus<
geschaltet werden.

formément plat, exempte d'humi-
dité, de vibrations, quil ne soit pas
sujet a des temperatures extremes
et quil ne soit pas expose directe-
ment au rayon du soleil. Naccolez
pas l'appareil contre le mur ou
d'autre objet, car le manque de
ventilation lui en resulterait des
dommages.

BRANCHEMENT DE LA
SOURCE O'ALIMENTATION

Pour lalimentation, cet appareil
necessite le courant 'electrique
normal (CA). Brancher simplement
la prise de lappareil a la prise
murale ou a la prise CA com-
mutable ou non commutable de
votre amplificateur ou recepteur. Si
elle est branchée a la prise commuv
table, en laissant ouvert le comv
mutateur cle Iappareil, vous
pourrez controler Ia commutation
de la platine a equalizer par l'inter-
mediaire de votre amplificateur ou
récepteur. Si elle est branchéea
la prise non commutable, vous
devez, comme pour le branche-
ment 5 une prise murale, utiliser
Ia propre source d'alimentation de
la platine pour le controle de com-
mutation.

INSTALLATIE

Zorg ervoor het apparaat op een
horizontale vlakke opperviakte te
plaatsen, waar het vrii is van voch-
tigheid, vibratie, hoge temperatu ren
en waar het hiet in het directe zon-
Iicht staat. Pas er op, het apparaat
niet in een afgesloten ruimte te
zetten, zoals diohtbii een muur of
een boekenkast. Slechte ventilatie
is de oorzaak van slechte bedrijfs-
resultaten van het apparaat.

NETAANSLUITING

Dit apparaat vereist normale net-
spanning (Wisselstroom). U kunt
het apparaat eenvoudigweg op een
wandcontactdoos, of de op uw
versterker (of ontvanger)
geschakelde of ongeschakelde
contactdoos aansluiten. Als het is
aangesloten op een geschakelde
contactdoos, kunt u door het aan-
laten van de netschakelaar 0p uw
unit, de schakel vegelmg voor uw
vereffener met uw versterker of
ontvanger behouden. Als het is aanr
gesloten op een ongeschakelde con»
tactdoos, zoals een wandcontact-
doos, moet men de netschakelaar
van de vereffener voor schakel-
controlle, benutten.

CONEXION DE LA FUENTE
DE ALIMENTACIDN

reouiere la corriente aléctrica
normal para hogar (CAI. La unidad

una toma de paved, o a su toma
de CA del amplificador (0 receptor)
conectada o desconectada. Si se
enchufa a una toma conectada,
dajanose conectado el interuptor de
alimentaclén de la unidad, podra
mantenerse el control de con-
mutacién para el aparato de
ecualizador con su amplificador 0
receptor. Si se conecta a una toma
no conmutada, como se conecta
a una toma de pared, hay que usar
el propio interruptor de alimenta-
cion del ecualizador para control de
commutacion.
