POWER SUPPLY

1, USE A WALL OUTLET FOR POWER SUPPLY
Be sure to connect the AC trne cord to a household wall outlet Be cenatn that the wall outlet voltage
matches the electttcal ralrng ol the unlt. lound on the rear panel

2. CONNECTING AND REMOVING AC CORD
Be sure to connect or dlsconnect the AC lrnc cord only attertumtng oh the power swrlch to prevent
possrble shock nurse or damage to the speakers

3. VENTILATE THE UNIT WELL
Never block any ventrlatron holes at the top and bottom at the unrt Be sure also to provtde ampte
ventrlatron space around the urrrt Poor venlrlatron may result tn damage due toexcessrve heat,

4. DO NOT OPENTHE CABINET

6 MOVING THE UNIT
When transportrng remove the AC cord lrorn the wall outlet and all other connected cords on the
rear panel to prevent wrre breakage and short crrcurts REFIT TRANSIT SCREWS - see note It)

To IFTHE UNIT GETS WET
It the unrt should get wet Immediately drsconnect the AC cord, and consult your dealer or a oualtlred
electncran

8,CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE

lt your unrt comes wrth a 2-core cable wrthoul a plug. make certarn thatthe Itve and neutral leads are
connected to the proper termrnals. Check that the tetmrnals are screwed down hrmty and no loose
strands oI wrre are present,

Havrng ensured that all conneclrons have been correctly made and the untt has been swrtched on
you can proceed wrth the ooeratton ol the player

LOADING AND UNLOADING A DISC

Loadrrrq By pressrng the openclose button the motonsed dtsc tray wrll slrde open In thrs posrtron
you can now rnsen your chosen drsc by placrng rt tn the tray wnh the label srde uppermost being
carclul to hold the dtsc wtth your hand open and thumb and lrngers extended

The tray rs closed by ptessrng the start replay button rl you want to play all ol the drsct or by presstng
the open close button agarn rt you want toptay a soecrlrc track or to oomprle a programme

Care should be taken not Ioobstruct the dtsc tray when ooenrng or closmg

Ilthe error LED lrghts up atterthe drsc tray ts closed thts rndrcates that thedrsc has been tnsorted
upsrde down or that no drsc rs present

UNLOADING
By pressrng the opensclose button the rnotonscd drsctray wrll sltde open and the drsc may then be
removed Pressrnq the openrclose button agarn wrll close the dtsc tray

PLAYING TIME INDICATION

To select playtng trme rndrcatron Instead ot track number whrch rs automatrcally on swrtch-on. press
the TIMETRACK button whrle the tray closes Alter the contents lust on the drsc has been read the
TIME LED wrll rtlumrnate Durlng play you can change lrorn TlME to TRACK or TRACK to TlME
rndrcatron srmply by pressrng TIME-TRACK button

PLAYING A COMPLETE DISC

To play the whole drsc close the tray by pressrng the STARTREPLAV button Once the oontents Irst
on tho drsc has been read and the laser ptclr-up has reached the begrnnrngot the lrrst track the lrrsl
track number appears under TRACK INDEX and play starts

It you have selected playnrq trme rndrmtton the pause between thecontents IlSI and the Inst track ts
counted oh and drsplayed above MIN and SEC and play starts at the moment that the elapsed
playrng trme ot thrs track IS orsplayeu
