IMPORTANT
In keeping with our design philosophy, the RA84OB amplifier incorporates STRAIGHT LIN E"
loudspeaker paths to obviate degradation of sound quality through oxidisation. Accordingly,
when using headphones for private listening it will be necessary to disconnect your loudspeaker
leads from the amplifier.
For convenience, the MM/MC switch is located on the front panel. It should be noted.
however, that the amplifiers volume control should be set at zero before switching from MM to
MC or MC to MM. It is also advisable to position the volume control at zero before switching
the amplifier on or off.
THE ADDITIONAL DUBBING FUNCTION:
Dubbing (tape to tape copying) can be done from TAPE 1 to TAPE 2. To achieve this both
TAPE 1 and TAPE 2 buttons must be depressed.
