The version with a VU-meter control panel,
type 862~TVU1 has been developed for installations
where extensive operational control is required.

The control panel contains:

- VU-rneters

- RECORD and REPRODUCE level controls

- switching of meters before or after tape
(lNPUT-REPRODUCE switch)

- safeguard against inadvertent erasure
(SAFE-READY switches)

- facility to terminate the output with 600 ohm
(TERMINATION ON-OFF)

facility to calibrate VU-meters for line level
(for NAB operating level)
+ 4 dBm, + 6 dBm, + 8 dBm.

- for pilottone machines the panel can contain
a complete follow-up system.

The panel is built basically according to American
practice and is therefore suited especially to users
who work to NAB standards

- full track 1/ " -tape with pilottone

- full track 1/ " -tape with pilottone and
follow-up system
