Your new Realistic TR-3000 features open reel record/playback for the ultimate in
professional-type recording and tape-handling. To take advantage of the many pro-
fessional features weve included in your new Deck, we urge you to take the time to
read this manual carefully.

Features Include:

o Three-Head design for record monitoring and optimum frequency response. Heads
are constructed of Permalloy for high wear resistance without the disadvantages
of ferrite-type heads. Double~gap erase head for super quiet performance.

0 Pushbutton logic-controlled tape transport allows you to switch functions instant-
ly without tape spilling or damage.

0 Solenoid operated pinch roller and reel brakes for positive, reliable operation.

0 Three motor system: Frequency-generated Servo Motor maintains the capstan
speed rock-steady for lowest wow & flutter. One induction motor for each reel.

I Separate bias and equalization (two-stage) for optimum quality - regardless of
the tape used.

0 Adjustable output control.

0 Record muting switch.

For your own protection, we urge you to record the Serial Number of this unit in
the space provided. Youll find the Serial Number on the back panel of the Deck.

Ream Number rWARNING: To PREVENT FIRE on SHOCK HAZARD,
. DO NOT expose THIS TAPE DECK
