The sensation you have experienced at a concert hall-you may wish to enjoy that sensation once again at your home. In most
cases, however, the environment will not allow you to raise the level of sounds of your stereo system sufficiently for enjoying musics
in that dramatic "you-are'there realism.
PIONEER's Stereo Headphones Model SE-SO, one of the highest quality headphones ever presented, has solved the problem for you
successfully. lt leaks no sound from the earpieces, nor does it permit external noise to interfere your listening. It lets you enjoy in
total privacy a rich, vivid and really dynamic concert hall music in a true high fidelity any time, anywhere-in your bedroom, in the
living room or in the quietness of midnight.

The Model SE-SO is 2an stereo headphones of the higheSt
quality, employing a 3" cone»type element for reproducing
rich. dynamic bass and a horn-type element for subtle, clean
highs

As a novelty design for stereo headphones, volume controls
are provided on the earpieces for controlling the volume of
sounds on each channel. This newly added provi5lon permits
you to freely control the volume of reproduced sounds in
complete balance of the right and the left channels.

As a level control attenuator is provided for the horn-type
element, you can control highs to your taste or to the kind of
a music you listen.

' The headband is designed on various human engineering
considerations including wearing comfort, easiness of wearing
adjustment, easiness in operating of the level controls for
highs as well as of the volume controls.

Use of the Model -50

' If your amplifier is provided with "PHONES" jack, simply
connecting the plug on the Model SE-SO cord to the jack will

complete the connection.

' Set the volume of the headphones to maximum.lMAXl

When you wear the SE-SO, rest the earpiece with the coiled
cord on your left ear. The indications of Left and Right are
marked on the headband adjusting knob.

The knob provided on the front of the earpiece support as

you wear the SE-SO is the tone control and the one on the
rear is the volume control.

Adjust the tone control in the best way you desire, depending
on the music you listen.

Rotating the volume control on the right earpiece clockwise
increases the volume; and rotating the volume control on the
left earpiece counterclockwiseaincreases the volume.

First, turn the volume control of your amplifier counter-

clockwise all the way. Then, insert the plug of the SE-SO into

the "PHONES" jack of the amplifier and raise the volume of

the amplifier gradually till you obtain the most pleasing

sound level. .

' If your amplifier is not provided with PHONES" jack, use
PIONEER's Junction BOX JB-21 to connect the Model
85-50 with the outputs of your amplifiers. The tone controls are operated in the same way as You do
