After you have finished reading the instructions, put them

These operating instructions are based on the model NE,
and they can be used for the YB models. The differences
between the models are given below.
NE model:
For Europe (NE' stamped on packing case): power
line voltage is 3.0. 220 volts~.
YB model:
For U.K. (YB' stamped on packing case): power
line voltage is a.c. 240 volte~.

first. Connect the plug to the wall socket last; make sure that the
power switch is off.

Disconnect the wall plug when the equipment is not in regular use,

The wires in this mains lead are coloured in accordance with the
following code:

Blue: Neutral

Brown: Live
As the colours of the wires in the mains lead of this apparatus may
not correspond with the coloured markings identifying the ter»
minals in your plug, proceed as follows:
The wire which is coloured blue must be connected to the terminal
which is marked with the letter N or coloured black.
The wire which is coloured brown must be connected to the ter-
minal which is marked with the letter L or coloured red.
