outlets, the plug must be cut off and a suitable plug
fitted.

The cut-oiiplug should be disposed oiand must not be
inserted into any 13 amp socket as this can result in
electric shock, The plug or adaptor or the distribution
panel should be provided with 13 amp iuse. As the
colours oi the wires in the mains lead cithis appliance
may not correspond with coloured markings
identliying the terminals in your plug, proceed as
ioilows:

The wire which Is coloured blue must be connected to
the terminal which is marked with the letter N or
coloured black,

The wire which Is coloured brown must be connected
to the terminal which is marked with the letter L or
coloured red.

Do not connect either wire to the earth terminal of a
three pin plug.

NOTE

Alter replacing or changing afuse, the iuse cover in the
plug must be replaced with a idea cover which
corresponds to the colour of the Insert in the base of
the plug or the word that is embossed on the base at
the plug, and the appliance must not be used withoute

where they exit from the appliance,

POLARIZATION - If your purchased product ls
provided with a polarized power plug, please read
the ioIIowing instructions. This product is equipped
witha polarized alternating current line plug (a plug
having one blade wider than the other). This plug
wIII fit into the power outlet only one way. This is a
saIety Ieaturs. If you are unable to insert the plug
lully into the outlet, try reversing the plug. it the
plug should still tail to lit, contact your electricianto
replace your obsolete outlet. Do not deieat the
safety purpose oi who polarized plug.

CLEANING - The appliance should be cleaned only
with a polishing cloth or a soft dry cloth. Never

antenna is connected to the antenna tarmlnal, be
sure the antenna system is grounded so as to
provide some protection against voltage surges
and built-up static charges.
In the USA. section 810 of the National Electrical
Code, ANSI/NFPA 70, provldes information with
respect to proper grounding oi the mast and
supporting structure, grounding oi the lead-in wire
to an antenna discharge unit, size or grounding
conductors, location oi antenna discharge unit,
connection to grounding electrodes, and
requirements tor the grounding electrode. 506 Fig.
