' Before proceeding with the rack assembly, spread
a carpet or old blanket on the floor where you will
assemble the rack so as not to mark or scratch
either the floor or the rack.

- Use a medium~sized Philips head screwdriver.

0 Some of the parts are heavy and others have sharp
edges. Wear gloves to assemble the rack and han»
die the parts carefully.

I Assemble the rack in accordance with the instruc-
tions.

0 Make sure that all the screws are tightened suffi-
ciently since the whole weight of the stereo com-
ponents will be brought to bear on the rack.

CHECKING THE PARTS

ASSEMBLY PROCEDURE

The names and quantities of the parts are shown in the
parts list. Check that all the parts are present.

The names and shapes of the parts are required for the
assembly procedure and should thus be remembered.

3 MOUNTING THE PL-REAR BOARD
AND SIDE BOARD (RIGHT)

4 MOUNTING THE REAR BOARD

Place the rack as shown in the diagram on page 3.
First, straighten out the rack and then mount the rear
board.

1. The rear board should fit tightly against the
the side board (right) and the recessed part
tom board. If the rack feels loose at this time, it has not
been fitted tightly. Correct the looseness by fixing the
boards tightly.

2, Make sure that the space between the rear and side
boards is the same on both sides, and that the rear
board fits tightly against the bottom board. First,
tighten the screws on the bottom board side. Next,
tighten the screws on the side board (left and right] side.

3. Attach the cable clips.
