Checking thevoltage
Before connecting the apparatus tothe malus,
check thaIthe voltage towhich itis set, which can begeen through theopening ofthe voltage
adapter 0_~on the base ofthe apparatus, is
thaI ofyour localmalus supply. Ifitis not,
turn the
adapter with acolli orscrewdriver
until thecorrect valueappears.
Note: Donot turn thevoltage adapter whiIst
theapparatus is connected tothe malus. Important notetorusers inGreat Britain
The equipment cannow beconnected tothe
malus viaasuitable plug.Thewires inthis
malus leadarecoloured inaccordance with
the following code:
Bfue-Neutral Brown-Live
As these colours maynotcorrespond withthe
colour markings identifying theterminals in
your plugproceed asfollows. Thebrown wire
must beconnected tothe terminal whichis
marked withtheletter Lor coloured red.The
blue wiremust beconnected tothe terminal
which ismarked withtheletter Nor coloured
black.
Note: Thisappliance mustbeprotected bya
3A fuse ifa13A plug isused orifany other
type ofplug isused byaSA fuse either inthe
plug oradapter oratthe distribution
board. Ifin doubt consult aqualified electrician.
Connections
MFB-enclosures: Fornorm alstereo repro-
duction twoMFB-enclosures canbecon nect-
ed tosocket @.These enclosures shouldbe
positioned INFRONT ofthe listener.
For STEREO-4 reproduction twoextra enclo-
sures maybeconnected tosocket @.They
should beplaced BEHIND thelistener.
For connecting theenclosures toeach other,
their switch positions andplacing pleaseread
the
appropriate instructions toruse.
T-he input sensitivity switchonthe enclosures
should beput into position "PRE-AMPLIFIER
1 V".
Pressing key 8) ofthe preamplifier switches
on the FRONT loudspeaker enclosures(sys-
tem I).
The REAR enclosures (system11)are switched
on bypressing key@.Pressing key8)and @
simultaneously switchesonboth system land
system II(STEREO-4).
