mm.-Aerial input to the grid of
the HI. amplifier V1, an H.122 n-
tode, is via transformer coils. I¥he
A.V.C. potentials are applied direct to the

'6. instead of via. the tunin coils, a. grid
isolating condenser being used.

ELF. transformers provide the coupling
to the signal '11 of the EKZ ite-
quency changer, 2. Series grid resist»

tor grids and the reaction windings are
fed 'rect.

An iron core 1.]? transformer of the

of the valve being used as the e elec-
trode of a. triads, the potentials hein fed
to the volume contml by R18, the cod,
and 057, the coupling condenser.

V3 is coupled by A further LF. trons-
iormer to the demodulsting diode of V4,
on ELBI double diode output pentode.

down. The other
diode rovides s D. . tentinl controlling
V1 V2 via the A. .0. circuit.

The rectified impulses derived from the
demodulating diode are taken via a. tone
compensated memo] volume control to the
control grid of the pentode section of V4.
A pentode compensating condenser is con-
meted across the primary of the ape-km-
mtohing tmsionner, and also a tone con-
txol circuit, 042, 352 and REES. The
demodulated im lses also feed the M1
visual tuning in icstm'.

Mains equipment consists of a. full-wave

knobs. Loosen t grub screw securing
the extension shaft of the tone control at
side of cabinet sud unsolder the mite to

the floor of the cabinet.

Remove the eight bolts from the four
metal brackets disposed two each side of
the chassis on the front (inside) ofthe
cabinet. The four bolts securing the wave-

taking care not to injure the Bowden
cables or to scratch the W.L. scale.

The chassis, complete with speaker
