REMOVAL OF CHASSIS FROM CABINET.

This Radloplayer incorporates ramovabla chassis bottom

Ramon the plug Irom mar socket. Ramon the
dial glass-see "Dial Gian Removal"-and th- wooden
par-cl underneath the dial glass, and release the dial
poinlor from tha dial curd. Tako rar- to waition the
curd undlr the dial pointer to that it will not catch
during rornaval of m chassis. Loosen speaker clamping
brackpt.

Tia the pick-up arm to its rust and turn the cabinet
on its back. Ran-ma tho control knobs. cabinet bottom
owns, and free the diassit bottom cover shield (thing
lug. Roman the dial lamps and pick-up plugs rm.

gramo motor. With the unscrewing DI the four chassis
mounting bolts, the chassis may be withdrawn.

Tho chassis may be refitted by a reversal of the above
procodute. When replacing the chassis bottom cover,
make sure that the shield earthing lug is in position.

DIAL GLASS REMOVAL

The dial glass ls bald ln position by springs hows-d
in the cabinet at the left hand end at the glass. Apply
pressuru to than springs, by way of the dial glass until
it is clear of tho cabinet at the right hand amtl than lltt
thg glass from the cabinet,

MAINS VOLTAGE ADJUSTMENT.

The power transform" is provided with two primary
winding tappinqs, 210/240 volts and 250/260 volts,
for adjustment to the supply mains voltage at the point
of installation. The Muplayer is adjusted at the
Factory to the 120/240 volts rapping.

ALIGNMENT.

Removal of the chasix bottom mu: permits accass
to all alignment trimming condensers.

With the tuning gang fully closed, Iix an auxiliary
pointer. which can be easily made up tram workshop
materials, to the top string at the dial cord, and set to
"S" on the mlibrntcd scale on the top member of the
gantry assembly. it alignment is undertaken with the
chusii in position in the cabinet, the auxiliary point"
can be titted after removal of the dial glass-us "Dial
Glass Removal-and the wooden panel beneath it.
