BEFORE USE

To release the transport lock

The optical pickup is secured to prevent damage during transport
Be sure to release it belore use.

Before transporting the unit

Placement notes

Be sure to lock the optical pickup according to the procedures
below:

® Turn the power on and remove all discs trom the trays,

@i Close the loading drawer and turn the power off.

® Place the unit with the top panel lacing downward.

@ Insert the three spacers into
the slots and secure them With
the three screws.

(5,7 Insert the clamper into the slot
and turn it clockwtse.

© Place the unit With the right
panel tacing downward, and
press the lock shaft to the Lock
position (I A -).

CAUTION:

IDo not transport the untt Without locking the optical pickup
SEVERE DAMAGE WILL RESULT.

OBelore tilting or transporting the unit, be sure to remove all
discs lrom the trays.
Otherwse, discs may possthly be lallen into the unit and
can not be taken out.
