3.1nstallation

Warning: Play music too loud in an automobile can hinder
your ability to hear the traffic and permanently damage your
hearing.We recommend listening at low or moderate levels
while driving. Nakamichi accepts no liability for hearing 10-
ss, bodily injury or property damage resulting from the use or
misuse ofthis product.

Important: To get the best performance from your Nakamichi
NGTD Series amplifiers, we strongly recommend that insta-
llation be entrusted to a qualified professional.

Although the instruction explains how to install this ampl-
fiers in a general sense, they do not show specific installa-
tion methods that may be required for your particular vehicle.
Ifyou do not have the necessary tools or experience, do not
attempt the installation yourself. Instead, please ask your
authorized Nakamichi car audio dealer about professional
installation.

Installation Warnings and Tips
0 Always wear protective eyewear when using tools.

0 Turn off all audio systems and other electrical devices
before you start. Ensuring the safety ofthe positive
connection.

0 Make sure that both sides ofthe planned mounting surface
are clean before drilling or installing any screws. Remem-
ber that the screws can pass through the barrier .

0 At the installation sites, locate and make a lot of all
fuel lines, hydraulic brake lines, vacuum lines, and
electrical wiring. Use extreme caution when cutting
or drilling in and around these areas.

0 Before drilling of cutting holes, use a utility knife to re-
move unwanted fabric or vinyl to keep material from
snagging in drill bit.

Q When routing cables, keep input-signal cables away from
power cables and speaker wires.

9 When making connections, make certain they are secure and
properly insulated.
