Service Information T531/T571
Region Setting
The above models are delivered factory set to either R1 or R2 depending
on the version. To change the region code to your own area please perform the
following,
1. Turn on the unit and remove any discs .
2. Press the Pause button on the remote control.
3. Press numeric buttons: 3 1 4 1 5 9
4. VFL shows CODE--
*5. Enter the code for your region and press Pause button again.
6. Turn off power.
* NOTE: Perform step 5 as quick as possible for unit to accept command.
This completes the region setting.

Software Upgrade
PROBLEM1: When loading Disneys Atlantis you cant escape from the
Main Menu . When playing Star Wars-Episode 1 alien language appears .
PROBLEM2: When playing cds with music that starts at time 00:00 on the
first track you may notice the first ½ second of music is muted.
CAUSE1: The current software doesnt recognize the dvd s menu system.
CAUSE2: The software is muting this part of the cd track.
SOLUTION: Upgrade the software with software upgrade Version 0312.This
upgrade solves both problems. The software is available from our service
website to download to a CD-R. Follow the instructions for upgrading from
the upgrade procedure provided.
