MODIFICATION
PROBLEM:
You may receive a complaint about the unit being totally unresponsive to commands and not coming out
off protection.
CAUSE:
A power surge during switch on may cause two fusible resistors to blow.
SOLUTION:
· Change R401 and R402 from 2.2 Ohm/2W to a jumper wire.
Its advisable to perform this modification whenever a unit comes in for service.

MODIFICATION
PROBLEM:
You may receive the complaint that the Left and Right channel are not switched on at the same time.
This is only noticeable if you switch on the unit with signal already applied to it.
CAUSE:
The muting circuit in the pre-amplifier may not release both channels at exactly the same time.
SOLUTION:
· Change D309 and D310 from 1N4148 to 10M Ohm 1/6W 5% Metal Film Resistor
Its advisable to perform this modification whenever a unit comes in for service.
