GENERAL INFORMATION

This supplement introduces twelve
(12) new models previously not
listed. It also includes seven (7)
models previously introduced in
supplement #1. These seven (7)
models are identical to those shown
in supplement #1 with the exception
that a later version of chassis may
be usedin some of these models.
Information unique to these chassis
is given in this supplement.

For general service notes, replace-
ment parts list and schematic dia-
grams of the stereo portion of
Models LK7ZBC and LK729C, refer
to the TS-A914C, Supplement #1.

This supplement also includes
unique information for chassis ver-
sions shown herein, as well as the
latest chassis schematic diagram,
TS-A914D Rn E. Refer tothe"Model
Breakdown Chart" for specific in-
formation on chassis versions and
the Table Of Contents for type of
information included. For all other
information, refer to the original
TS-A9 14C service manual.

NOTE: The dynamic convergence
yoke assembly has been redesigned
to improve dynamic convergence.
The dynamic convergence panel has
also been redesigned (component
value changes only) to accommodate
the new dynamic convergence yoke.
All TS-A9l4 chassis that use the
redesigned convergence panel and

convergence yoke are coded
TS-A9l4UE'I or later and all con-
vergence panels are coded

CP-A914HE or later.

For optimum performance, we
recommend that the new con-
vergence yoke assemblyis used with
chassis coded 13-00 and later only. If
the new convergence yoke is used
with chassis or convergence panels
coded earlier than "E, the dynamic
convergence range may be limited,
making Convergence more difficult,

Chassis TS-A914HD" is the same as previous chassis TS-A9141'C except it incorporates a new pin-
cushion assembly which includes circuitry for horizontal pincushion correction.

Chassis TS-A9l4HE" is the same as chassis IS-A914WDH except it includes improved dynamic conver-
gence circuitry. See schematic diagram, TS-A914D & E, and I'Note" in HGeneral Information" section.

Chassis HH23TS-A9l4 incorporates three (3) video drive controls as opposed to two (2) video drive
controls used in earlier versions.

Chassis HAGHZ3TS-A9l4 is the same as ANTS-A914 except it incorporates three (3) video drive controls.
Chassis K'IZ3TS-A9 14 is the same as va-zaTs-A9 14 except it incorporates three (3) video drive controls.
