to; NOISE

All electronic device: generate some noise.
Good design and naterials make possible high
signals relative to the amount 0! noise. This
"high signal to noise ratio" can like the noise
virtually unnoticeahla. this characteristic
and capability is very important in the design
of all Morley products.

Mtivate the foot switch.

This is iaportant because the effect box can
operate fra- very weak or high inedencs iourceu

This is important because'it reduces high fre-
quency losses and hula pickup by the cable which
cones free: the output side o! the effect box.

It lakes it pee-iblo to use such longer cables
over greater distances without signal deteriora-
tion and reduces or eliminates loading by the
device to which it connects.

STEREO CHOIUS-Vflldm (SCV)
PRINCIPLE OF OPIMTION

The Morley Stereo Chorus-Vibrato contains ox-
trcnely quiet solid auto digital and analog
circuitry that delays the signal for a small
fraction of a second and then conbines the
delayed signal with the direct signal. The
delay continually fluctuates in the tango of 500
nicroeeconds (.0005) to 15 milliseconds (.015)
at a rate deter-ined by control settings. This
rote my be anywhere tron one excursion every

20 seconds (.05lix) to 9 tines a second (911:).

enhanced due to the addition at:

PLtch changes rewiring from the changing de-
lays: amlar to pitch changes Which OCCur when
a recordin is speeded up or slowed down.

Beat notes which vary with the algal]. frequency
as well as control settings. This occurs iron
the nlxins of direct and varying delay signals.

Changing harmonic structure: due to the contin-
uously sowing froqusnciss of enhancement and
cancellation.

CHORUS-VIBRAID OPERATION

Turn effect on with Effect On-OH" tootswitch.
LED will light.

Select chorus or vibrato node by depressing
"Chorus-Vibrato" foocewitch.

The LED indicator will pulsate slowly in chorus
node and rapidly when in vibrato mode.

11 in chorus mode adjust chorus intensity contrc
for desired effect. The effect increases by
turning control in clockwise direction. The
pulsating L31) will so indicate.

In vibrato node adjust the "Depth" and "Speed"
controls for desired speed and intensity. sit
the LED indicator will respond accordingly.

STEREO opt-muons

Stereo effect: are automatically generated by
plugging a second amplifier into the "Stereo"
jack on the rear o! the unit. The two speakers
should he as far apart as practical and always
over 1.0 feet if both speakers are facina in the
one direction. uplifier volume controls
Ihould he adjusted no listeners receive equal
round from both speakers.

In the "Effects 0ft" mode, direct signals are
connected to both saplitiera. In the "fifteen
0n" node. direct and delayed signals are split
and applied to separate amplifiers producing
stereo effects by causing the mixing to take
place in the ears and brain of the listener.
