The touch screen way
The light, sophisticated RC3200 incorporates a customizable
illuminated touch screen panel with back lighting, advanced
functionality and a trend setting ergonomic design. It utilizes a
monochrome touch screen LCD with 4 gray levels and digital
contrast control. This is a great small sized remote that you can
operate with one hand. Almost everything about this remote is
configurable; you can define your own buttons (size, label, style)
and you can then assign any remote function to the button,
including complex sequences of commands (macros). You can
even program the functions of the hard buttons on the remote.
You can create entire custom screens for your favorite actions.
The innovative RC3200 displays "virtual" buttons that
reconfigure and rename themselves according the audio and
video component selected. All of the controls, of any
component, are available at the touch of Marantz' unique
tab-style navigation. It features a blue EL back lighting for the
LCD and intuitive hard buttons (14 programmable), and
displays a resolution of 160 x 100 pixels.
Customize and create
The RC3200 is completely customizable and programmable.
It is pre-programmed to control Marantz audio and video
components and can operate different brands as well.
With the Marantz Digital Learning capability featuring a
learning frequency up to 56kHz the RC3200 can easily learn the
codes from most non-Marantz component, including
IR-controlled accessories such as a motorized projection screen
and lighting. With 1 Mb non-volatile flash memory available,
you can program an almost endless number of devices and tab
lay-outs into the RC3200. An extensive selection of pre-
designed button graphics enable you to choose the ideal
customized interface layout. The RC3200 can record your
favorite communication sequences as macros, to transmit a
multitude of commands with the touch of one button.
Macro function keys
To combine multiple commands, this remote offers the
possibility to define macro's. By activating a macro, a sequence
of command is transmitted. Very usefull if you want to switch
on your entire system. It just requires pressing one button.The future in mind
Personalized setup can be further customized via a PC interface
and Windows PC programming software. With the RC3200
setup programming software you can layout your pages, create
and label new buttons to completely personalize your remote
control. The RC3200 is future proof and allows you to update
the software. You can download the software from
www.marantz.com via the RS232 3-wire serial port connector.
