Aesthetic amplification With its slim design and approach, the PM4400 fits in every environment and system configuration. This amplifier is fully equipped with all features one might require from this integrated amplifier. The symmetric PCB construction ensures good quality stereo imaging and tonal accuracy. True value for money. Symmetric circuit architecture To achieve the best possible sonic performance, signal paths need to be short, direct and mirror imaged. The construction of our circuitry provides improved stereo image by ensuring symmetry between right and left channel layout. The rigid chassis and solid metal construction create an anti-resonant environment. Two pair of speaker outputs In not all domestic environments the availability of one speaker system is sufficient. Marantz amplifiers are equipped with the possibility to connect 2 pairs of loudspeakers. The speaker systems can be switched on and off by simply selecting the speaker system on the front of the amplifier. Another option for the second speaker connection is to provide a bi-wired connection for your main loudspeakers. By doing so, this provides each loudspeaker drive unit (bass driver and tweeter unit) to have a separate and direct connection to the amplifier. This reduces any influence the internal cross-over may exert upon the music. In effect each drive unit has a separate and independent filter network eliminating all cross over distortion. D.Bus & system remote control To optimise equipment in terms of ease of use, Marantz has designed the D.Bus system. Individual devices inform each other, in order to automatically tune to the customers demands. At the same time received remote control commands are communicated via this bus. This enables equipment without IR- receiver, like a cassette deck or tuner, to be controlled via a Marantz Remote control.
