2.3 Ge ne ral Spe cification
The LCD TV is a Color Active Ma tri x Liqu id Cr ystal Display w ith an integra l
C old Cathode Flourscent Lamp(CCFL) backlight system.
T he matrix employs a-Si Thin Film Transistor as the active elem ent.
I t is a transmissive display type which is operated in the normally black mo de.
I t has a 31.51 inch diagonally measured active display area with WXGA resolu tion.
( 768 vertical by 1366 horizontal pixel array) Each pixel is divided int o
Red, Green and Blue sub-p ixels or dot s which are arran ge d in vertical stripes .
G ray scale or the luminance of the sub-pixel color is determined with
a 8-bit gray scale signal fo r ea ch dot, Therefore it c an pres ent a palette
o f more than 16.7M(true) Colors.
It ha s be en de signed to appl y th e 8Bi t 1 port L VDS interface .
