GENERAL DESCRIPTION
YourMarantz Model4300 isahigh-quality Stereo
2
+Quadradial 4Receiver developed byMarantz,
a
name famous for quality inthe audio com
ponent industry. TheModel 4300incorporates
Marantz' exclusive Vari-Matrix circuit which
sim
ulates4-channel soundfromnormal 2-channel
stereo programs, and
is capable of reproducing
4-channel sound
from anymatrix-encoded source.
The 4300 will
also reproduce anydiscrete 4
channel program as well as regularstereoand
monaural programs. Anoptional plug-indecoder
adapts the4300
for any specific matrixsystem,
such as Columbia's SQ.
The FM tunersection employs an FET for the
RF amp stage. The IF tuningcircuitemploys
ceramic filters
of widebandwidth and high
selectivity
to provide highsensitivity and un
paralleled interference-free operation.
The 4300 incorporates afull-process, 2-channel
DOLBY System
to reduce noise, inherent in
recording music
from records,tape,F Mbroad
casts andTV. For
quick identification
of thecontrols and
connections, references are printedinbold face
type.
