GENERAL DESCRIPTION
TheMarantz Model2252isan allsolid state
receiver incorporating theinnovative designand
unparalleled technologythathave made Marantz
famous inthe audio component industry.
The Model 2252features asensitive stereoFM
tuner, ahighly selective AMtuner, andalow dis
tortion preamplifier andamplifier onasingle
chassis. TheFMtuner features afront endwhich
employs adual gateMOSFET andFMIF unit, a
phase locked loopmultiplex decoderandanAM
tuner, allofwhich utilize IC'sthroughout. The
amplifier sectionspermittheconnection oftwo
stereo pairsofloud-speakers, aturntable or
record changer, twotape recorders, stereohead
phones, andanauxiliary sourcesuchasan addi
tional tuneroraTV sound source.
