Ample Power Output and Perioct Elimination of
Notch Distortion:

Parallel push-pull operation at the output stage
easily yields the rated output at flow per channel
into 8 ohms loads, 20 - 20,000H2. with total
harmonic distortion no more than 0.006%. Under
this parallel pushvpull system, the amount of
current per one transistor can be set at low level.
and good tretrle response is procured along with
excellent linearity against electric current. Another
Ienture is the large amount oi Pclcollector dis
sipationi. Furthermore. specially selected high
speed transistors at the output stage in combi-
nation With a unique circuit device to accelerate
overall swrtching speed make it possible to perfect-
ly eliminate natch (listonion inherent in aclass 8"
amp. Thus, despite basic class " amp design the
notch distortion is kept as low as that of a class
"A" amp.

Roaltimo Processed DC Amp:

In the case of an audio amplifier which deals
with WHCltaflglflg music signals, the problem at
transient distortion, that is of Vital importance to
sonic quality [though (liiiicult to tleiine spec-In
cation] has to be solved in addition to harmonic
diSIOIKIDfl shown in the lorm of a measurable
specilication. With conventional AC amp cucurtry,
a large amount of NH) is applied to suppress
harmonic distortion. and the large capacitor in this
NFh loop induces time lag. thus causing transient
distortion. Removal at this Itotrnlul capacrtor led
us to the unique concept oi e "Realtime Processed
DC amp".

At the main amp Circuit. an emitter-follower
drtvcn by constant current is provided to make the
most of our excluswe DML'IC's (where drilerential
amp c-rcurt of dual PET and its auxniury circuits
are packed into a block) and also to improve load
condition in the treble range at the predrtvcr stage.
Anather emitter-lollowei With a constant current
circuit is placed to isolate the pre-driver stage pl
class A" operation immune from the influence of
the pure complementary output stage of class "AB
operation.

Perloct Independent Power Supply for Right and
Len Channels:

In the power sunp|y section, 2 large-sized
torordal power transformers are combined with 2

huge electrolytic curiae-tors (10.000uF x 2). and
even the constant current power supply section is
separated into tight and lelt- channels. Such a
Deriect independent power supply system eliminates
mutual interference between right and left channels
at the power supply secxron ensuringa stable power
supply to all circuits 0' arnplilier.

Special DML-IC and Strictly Selected Componentiy:

To remedy DC drift - the only drawback of a
DC amp, We developed the exclusive DML-lc and
the drift was suppressed to a low level equalling
that of conventional Ac amps. Stringent selecrion
is applied to all componentry employeos and need-
less to say. some excellence is always taken into
account.
