The balanced amplifier circuit develops 200 Watts into
8 Ohms and 400 Watts into 4 Ohms, employing a
push/pull configuration for complete control of any
loudspeaker. A massive 800 VA toroidal transformer
and 55,000 microfarads of capacitance guarantee huge
power reserves for maximum dynamic impact.
Both balanced and single-ended inputs are provided,
and the Theater Throughput
-„¢mode, developed by Krell,
simplifies integration into home theater systems. Robust
WBT binding posts provide superior loudspeaker cable
termination. The Krell KAV-“ 400xi is a high performance
