(Refer to FUNC 17.2.6 Call Indicator.) Note: Call Indicator can be configured only when a value is configured in the Decode ID edit box. 6.6.10 Horn Alert (TK-7180/ 8180 only) Configure activation of the Horn Alert terminal when a GID is received. (Refer to FUNC 9 Horn Alert Function.) Note: Horn Alert can be configured only when a value is configured in the Decode ID edit box. 6.6.11 Scan Add Configure whether or not the transceiver scans the current GID during the scan. Note: Scan Add can be configured only when a value is configured in the Decode ID edit box. 6.6.12 Transpond Configure whether or not to transmit a Transpond to the Dispatcher after the transceiver receives a call by LTR ID. (Refer to FUNC 15 Transpond Function.) Note: Transpond can be configured only when a value is configured in the Encode ID and Decode ID edit boxes. 6.6.13 Talk Around Configure to enable or disable the Talk Around function by GID. (Refer to FUNC 13 Talk Around Function.) Note: Talk Around can be configured only when a value is configured in the Decode ID edit box. 6.6.14 Compander Configure to enable or disable the Compander function. When Compander is enabled, noise can be reduced to improve the S/N ratio (Signal to Noise Ratio). The Compander function compresses audio signals at transmission modulation, and expands them at receiving demodulation to improve the S/N ratio. This function compresses the width of transmission signals at transmission, and expands the width at receiving to restore the signals. (Refer to FUNC 1.7 Compander.) Note: Compander can be configured only when a value is configured in the Decode ID edit box. RangeCheck (Enable)Activates the Call Indicator when a GID is received. Uncheck (Disable)Does not activate the Call Indicator when a GID is received. DefaultUnchecked (Disabled) RangeCheck (Enable)Activates the Horn Alert when a GID is received. Configure the Emergency Call ID by directly entering value in the edit box or clicking the spin buttons. (Refer to FUNC 24.1.20 Emergency Call ID.) Note: !You cannot configure the Emergency Call ID if any other than the FleetSync is selected from the Emergency ID pulldown menu. !A maximum of 4-digit numbers and . can be entered. !When the entire content of the edit box is deleted, a blank will be configured. !When A or 0 is entered in the edit box, the edit box will be configured to ALL. !When a value outside of the available range is entered, it is replaced with the upper limit value or the lower limit value of the range. !If the Emergency Call Fleet edit box is a blank when the value is entered, the Emergency Call Fleet edit box will be configured to ALL. !An error message appears when trying to write data to the transceiver in the following conditions. - FleetSync is selected from the Emergency ID pulldown menu. - The Emergency DTMF ID edit box will be configured to a blank. 6.15 Extended Function Window You can configure the Extended Function in the Extended Function window. 6.15.1 Extended Function (TK-2180/ 3180 only) You can configure the Optional Board in the Extended Function window. " OPT1 You can configure the operation of the OPT terminal. Select the desired OPT1 option from the pulldown menu. Note: !You cannot select the desired OPT1 pulldown menu if the Voice Scrambler or GPS-1 is selected from the Optional Board pulldown menu. !You cannot select LOK (Continuous) from the OPT1 pulldown menu if None is selected from the Optional Board pulldown menu. !The configuration varies depending on the ANI Board is used in Conventional Groups or Trunking system. Refer to the ANI Board manual for details.
