DIAL CORD STRINGING

Tle the dial cord 10 the boss of volume pulley.
Fullev \® Set volume pulley to the volume shaft and turn tt

Boss 4 Stretch and hook the dlal cord to the pulley and dress rt
@\\ to the volume pulley from the lower side 1 and a hall

5 Be sure to wmd the end of the dial cord firmly to the clip
of the volume pulley. so'that It lS tightly stretched

6 Make sure that volume pulley IS fully turned
counterclockwrse and llx the preset level knob by
adhesrve Check that the groove of the preset level knob
allgns Wlth the 0 mark on the panel.

- Before adjustments -

Thrs adjustment must be done WlthOUt dummy load
connected

Remove top cover

Thls ampllfler uses heat plpe For thus reason, amplifier
must be kept horizontal for accurate adjustment
Before turnlng the power ON, turn potentlometers VR7
and 8 fully countercloclese.

Set preset level to 0

Follow steps 6 through 10 thln 1 mlnute, after you
turn the power ON

Cet ampltfrcateur est equlpé d'un caloduc || faudra
donc matntenor lampllflcateur a I'hortzontale pour obte-
nlr un reglage precrs

Avant avonr place l'appareil sous tension. tourner les po-
tentiometres VR7 e18 a fond dens Ie sens Invers de celui
des algu1lles d'une montre

Regler PRESET LEVEL au 0

Procéder aux operatlons 6 a 10 dans 1 mlnute. apres
avorr place l'apparerl sous tension.

i Adjustment -

6 Connect a DC voltmeter between TP1 and 31TP2 and 4
for rrght channel) of preamp unlt (X08-185*-**).

7. Adjust VR1 (VRZ) for a CV readlng of the DC voltmeter
(PREAMP OFFSET).

8 Connect a DC voltmeter to speaker termmals,

9 Set the SPEAKERS swrtch to A+B and the PRESET
LEVEL to O.

10. Adjust CENTER ADJ VR5 (VR6) for UV reading ofthe DC
voltmeter lAUDlO AMP OFFSET).

11 Connect a DC voltmeter between TP25 and 23 (TP26
and 24) of audro amp unlt1X09v160*-"*)

12 After 2 minutes adjust IDLE ADJ VR7 (VRB) for 2 ~ 3
mV readmg of the DC voltmeter (lDLE CURRENT),

13. Leave the power swttch ON for 10 mrnutes.

14, Check that OFFSET valtages are 0V and, voltage
between TP25 and 23 (TP26 and 24) IS now 4 ~ 5 mV

15 ll necessary, adjust each potentrometers agaln

16 Place top cover.

17. After penormlng these adlustments IDLE current of 30
mA Wlll flow

6 Brancher un voltmétre de C C entre TF1 et31TP2 e14

7 Regler VR1 (VR2) de facon a ce que le voltmeter de CC
Indtque OV (OFFSET).

8 Brancher un voltmetre de CC. aux bornes du hautvpar~
leur,

9t Flégler SPEAKERS interrupteur au A+B et PRESET
LEVEL 3 O

10. Régler CENTER ADJ. VR5 (VRB) de facon a ce que le
voltmetre de C,C. indique 0V, (OFFSET).

11. Brancher un voltmetre de C C entre TP25 e123 (TP26
et 24) du bloc amplrflcateur audio MOS-160*")

12 Apres 2 mlnutes, régler IDLE ADJ VR71VR8)defacon 2:
Ce que le voltmétre de CC indlque 2 ~ 3 mV
(COURANT DE POLARlSATION).

13 Mamtenlr Ie commutateur dal1mentatron en posmon de
marche pendant 10 minutes

14. Vérifrer que les voltages correspondent a 0V et s'assurer
que le voltage entre TP25 et 23 corresponds mamtenant
a 4~5 mV.

15 Si cela s'avere nécessarre, proceder a nouveau au rer
glage de chaque potentiometre

16. Placer Ie couvercle de haut.

17. A la surte de ces dlvers réglages. )e passage du courant
de polartsatlon de 30 mV sera assure
