' The speakers have been demagnetized to prevent uneven colors on
color television screens. However. colors on the television screen may
become uneven in some system configurations. Therefore, take the
following precautions when installing speakers
1. If you combine a television set with speakers. turn the main power
switch of the television set off before Installing speakers. When the
main wwar switch' Is turned off it should be turned on again after at
least Cb minutes.

2. If there is a non-demagnetized speaker system other than this JVC
system near a television set, it may cause uneven colors.

3. If colors become uneven due to some types of televisions. move the
speaker system away from the television set.

- Connect the LEI-I' speaker terminals of the amplifier to the LEFI
terminals of the speaker and RIGHT to RIGHT using the attached
speaker cords as shown In the figure making sure polarity' Is correct: (+)
to (+) and (- )tc(- ) Connectthe black speaker wires to the ( -)terminals.

0 Turn off powerto the whole system before connecting the speakers to the
amplifier.

- The nominal impedance of the SX-A103WD is 6 ohms. Connect them
to an amplifier with the load impedance of 6 ohms speaker.

- The maximum power handling capacity ofthe SX-At oawo is 100 watts.
Excessive input will result in abnormal noise and possible damage. 70%
of the maximum amplifier output is normally available when the volume
control is set to its center position.

In cases where the signals described below are applied to the speakers,

even if the signals are below the maximum allowable input, they may

cause an overload and burn the wiring of the speakers. Be sure to lower

the amplifier volume beforehand.

1) Noise during FM tuning.

2) High level signals containing high frequency components produced
by a tape deck' In the fast forward mode.

3) Clidt noise produced when turning power of other components on
and oil.

4) click noise produced when connecting or disconnecting cards with
the power on.

5) Clck noise produced when the cartridge is replaced with the power

6) (Dick noise produced when operating amplifier switches

7) continuous high frequency osdliation or high pitch electronically
prodwed musical instrument sound

- When reproduocing digital sign from a CD digital disc, etc.. be careful
that the ma)dmum peak value does not exceed the power handling
capacly of the speaker because of the extremely fast rise time of the
signds from zero (there Is no iriltial noise) and the wider dynamic range
of 90 dB.
