0 Cleaning The Head

Heads are important as they pick up sound.

When they become dirty, the lollowing

symptoms become noticeable:

o The sound quality is reduced.

0 The sound level is decreased.

0 The sound can be heard intermittently.
(Sound dro occurs.)

These are NO malfunctions. However, belore

these symptoms appear, clean the heads after

every 10 hours or use using a wet-type head

cleaning tape, available from an audio store.

For more details. reter to the Instructions oi

the Head Cleaning Tape.

Vermeidung der genannlen Beeintrachtigungen
sollten die Kopie ca. alle 10 Betriebsstunden
mil einem im Audio-Fachhandel ernaltlichen
Reinigungsbend (Nassband) geséubert
werdeu. Wellere Angaben siehe die
Gebrauchsanweisung der Fleinigungscasselle

nettayage de tétes de type humide, disponible
dans un magasin de produits audio. Pour plus
de details, 59 reporter aux Instructions de la
cassette de nettoyage de tétes.

FM Pulse Noise Suppressor

This unit has built-in circuitry to etlectively
eliminate engine noise picked up by the antenna,
etc. in the form 01 FM pulses. for a more favorable
FM reception.

Automatic FM Noise Suppressor
(AFNS)

This unit incorporates an automatic FM noise
suppression circuit to ensure satisfactory
reception of FM broadcasts when a vehicle is
moving and signal strengths are continuously
fluctuating.

- This unit is for the control of aJVC CDAutomatic
Changer (to be purchased separately).
(Applicable models: xL-MK500IMG700RFI
MG1800, KD-MK70/MK661MK77, etc.)

5 For correct usage, reler to the Instructions oi
the CD Automatic Changer,

0 When there are no discs in the CD changer's
magazine or the discs are inserted upside down,
"NO DISC" will be shown in the display. It this
happens, remove the magazine and set the
discs correctly.

0 When RESET 1 - RESET 8" is shown in the
display of the unit, confirm that the cord is
connected and press the RESET button of the
CD Changer.

0 Die CD-Wechsler-Bedlenelemente sind tur
einen JVC CD»Automatikwechsler (nicht
mitgellelert) vorgesehen.
(Geeignete Modelle: XL-MK500/MG7OORFI

verkehrt herum eingelegt sind. erscheint dis

das CDrMagazin entnehmen und die CDs wie
eriorderlich einiegen

- Erscheint Anzeige "RESET 1 - RESET 8" im
Displayield, fiberpruten. ob einwandtreier
Kabelanschlui} mit dem CD-
Automatlkwechsler vorliegl. Dann die Taste
RESET am CD-Wechsler betatigen.

dans Iafiichage de lappareii, vérilier que Ie
cordon est raccordé er appuyer sur la touche
HESE T du changeur CD.
