(1} Completely non-directional sound

Four 5"(I3cm) rolled free-edge woofers and four 2"(5cm) horn tweeters are radially arranged at equal intervals around the

spherical surface. This ensures the same frequencv characteristics in all directions. The sound field is the same wherever

the listener mav be.

(2) A rich and heavy bass

The bass characteristic of the spherical waves from a breathing sphere is twice as efficient as that of the 2-dimensional waves

from an oscillating diaphragm. Since the enclosure of this speaker system is l3-1/2"(34cm) in diameter its bass reproduction

is equivalent to that of a plane baffle with two 12"(30cml woofers.

(3) Floor or ceiling mounting
Using the stand GBS-IE they can stand on the floor or. to save floor space. they can be hung from he ceiling.

For audio enthusiasts who want to experiment. the directivity can be changed to suit the environmental conditions of the

room and the arrangement of speakers and program sources. The directivity control device has been designed so as to give

infinite variations in the directivity. from axial to perfectly non-directional.
