Your new HAFLER Model 300 Loudspeakers were designed and manufactured
to achieve a high level of sonic performance. We are confident that the Model
300 Loudspeakers will serve you well as the final link in your audio system. If
you have any questions or comments feel free to contact our facilities.

QENERAL INFQRMATIQN

The HAFLER Model 300 Loudspeaker systems are equipped with removable
cloth grills. To remove the grill assemblies, gently pull out one corner and slowly
work off the other three corners. To replace, align the nylon male/female
fasteners and gently tap on each corner.

With the grills removed, you will notice that the Model 300 Loudspeakers are
designed to operate as a mirror imaged pair. Correct positioning places the high
frequency driver, which is on the same side as the HAFLER logos, to the outside
of the listening area. Proper right/left configuration is critical for optimum sonic
performance.

Inspection of the bottom panel will reveal four inserts which will accommodate
1/4", #20 thread. This feature is included as a convenience to those who wish to
utilize threaded spiked stands as an option.

A purchase registration card has been included with your Model 300
Loudspeakers. Please complete the card and return it to our facilities. The
Model 300 Loudspeakers are covered under a five year limited warranty.

HAFLEFt recommends that all packaging be kept for future use. The cartons are
easily flattened by slitting the tape on both ends. They can then be re-taped
when transporting the speakers.

WIRING

The input terminal is located on the bottom panel of each loudspeaker. A spring
loaded terminal is utilized which can accommodate a standard banana type
plug. lf bare wire is to be used, make sure that there is 1/4" to 1/2" of wire
available for insertion into the terminal. To make the connection, simply depress
the terminal tab, insert the wire, and release the tab.

The type of wire you use is entirely up to you. However, we do recommend that
you use the minimum lengths of wire required for your installation. Generally,
heavier wire (lower wire gauge numbers) reduces the potential for signal losses. .
