Aligning Instructions
Warm-up time ca. 10 minutes

RC generator (clock module)

Apply 9 V battery voltage. Connect set temporarily to mains sup-
ply. Connect frequency counter with 10:1 probe to measuring
point V. Using controller ® R 111, set to 900 Hz :10 Hz.

Oscillator alignment (R. F. section) .
Unsolder whip aerial. Connect loudspeaker to A.F. output. Tune
set to a frequency free from broadcast signals (noise) Measure
, and note readings Apply
subsequent R. F. signals to the whip a rial pick-up, and adjust the
oscillator so that the previously measured voltage, UM. (with a
max. deviation of i 100 ml!) is once again availableat measuring
point . ,

R 2 at fe = 87.4 MHz (cut-off frequency)

® C 18 at te = 108 MHz (cut-off frequency)

Repeat alignment until no further improvement is possible.

Sensitivity at signal-to-noise ratio of 26 dB
