We are proud to introduce the Genesis 700. Based on

THE INSIDE STORY
he 700 incorporates two technologicallv-ad\ance(|
and different driver designs to create its sonic magiv.
The bass and middle frequem ies are handled hv
mo shielded, (ustomwlesigned 6.3" longethrow metal,
(one noot'ers, and the higher frequencies are reproduced
hv a shielded version o1 our tamous l(iru1lar-ril)l)on

tweeter, one in front and one in [he rear.

The Ttitt (an he used in either a hori7ontal position as a
(enter (hannel, or in a vertinal mounting on either stands
or wall mounts as the front, rear or main ehannels in a
music or home theater svstem.

The crossover is a two-wav, 4th order, LinkwitzsRilev
phasevcorrect design that incorporates customavound
Genesis ('apat'itors, omgenvtree t opper induttors and the
finest parts available.

The design, qualitv of materials, and fit of the tahinet are

from heavilv-braLed i-thicl\' MDF for the sides, a 1.3"

speaker of its si/e. It is capable of easily handling severv

With a trequencv response essentially flat from 4M lz to

52 kH7, the 700 is a tullerange loudspeaker for all but the Imv
est lirequeneies whit h, it necessary, can he augmented with the
addition of .1 Genesis 900 suhwooter.

One of the most Ltlll( al aspet ts of a loudspeakers perfor-
manLe is the ability to maintain a flat energv response oft-axis
because we typically listen nit-axis. The tact that a speaker is
flat Iin its acoustic energy outputt onvaxis is an attrihute, hut it

is not as ( ritical as its off-axis response. Very few loudspeakers
ever achieve anything close to the level of smooth oil-axis per-
tormam e built into the 700. in fact, the off axts response oi the
700 is so good it is often hard to tell where the speakers are in

the room.
